In this video, I share a tutoring activity that allows reading the group through a symbolic context with different characters and situations. Based on the interpretation of the drawing, students project how they perceive themselves and how they perceive the group, the roles that appear, and the position each person occupies within the whole. This proposal facilitates a rich and non-intrusive observation of the group’s dynamics: leaderships, rhythms, bonds, distances, and ways of participating. The activity provides relevant information to understand the current moment of the group and to situate oneself more clearly in the tutoring support, without the need to ask directly or to pass judgments.
This practice was implemented in Baix Llobregat.
