Do you often feel that you work in isolation or in compartments?
That all the educational work falls on you?
Can you see the continuity of the work you have started?
I present to you a short introductory capsule on community intervention and invite you to open your gaze from a systemic perspective to observe the opportunities for actions, resources, and actors you have in the environment where you work. Community action is a strategy and a working methodology based on networking among all the people who work in a territory. It allows establishing relationships and channels of communication that facilitate the exchange of information or resources. Applied to the socio-educational field, it aims to connect all those environments and contexts that can become educational.
Throughout this capsule I propose the basics to begin discovering with curiosity how to become familiar with this methodology: to know and recognize actors and resources, connect, and key aspects to respect its implementation (time and process, trust and interdependence, and shared objectives).
