INTRODUCTORY PILL: BODY DIMENSION

What do we learn?

This introductory piece presents my background and the unique project I am developing in a public school, where all students participate in a weekly session of dance, movement and body language.

I propose reflections on the students’ need for movement and the importance of integrating the physical dimension into educational practice. The proposal is based on the premise that the body is inseparable from the mental, emotional, and energetic dimensions.

The methodology is inspired by body language and references such as Isadora Duncan and Pina Bausch, with special recognition to Joan Serra Vilamitjana.
